Minor Hotels to Manage Movenpick Hotel Deira Dubai

Dubai’s Hotel Industry has been expanding rapidly in the past couple of decades. Swapping, shifting, mergers, change of management contracts and new hotels are more than common in Dubai. In one such activity, Bin Sulavem, owners of Dubai’s 210+ room Movenpick Hotel Deira, have come to a management agreement with Minor Hotels Group and are effectively rebranding the hotel to become AVANI Hotel Deira Dubai.

From July 1, 2016. Minor Hotels will be the official property manager of the Movenpick Hotel, making it the first AVANI branded hotel for the Middle East.

Dubai has become a hub of the hospitality industry and with Expo 2020 in the vicinity, the expansion of hotels in the area is set to keep growing at a rapid pace.

With so much happening in the city, one thing can be said with certainty as far as the Hotel industry is concerned.

With this management contract, AVANI has joined in its forte to expand in the Middle East region.

 

About the new AVANI Hotel

The hotel is located in an extremely diverse, culturally-rich location in the city – just four kilometres from the Dubai International Airport and adjacent to the well-known Gold and Spice Souks.

It’s near a number of shopping malls and the Dubai Metro so that visitors can access Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina and Jumeirah Beach

The Hotel has 210+ rooms, a number of meetings, two unique dining concepts, a completely furnished gym and an outdoor pool.

However, Movenpick’s other properties in the United Arab Emirates remain unaffected from the deal.
