This diploma course in hospitality is divided into four semesters. There are three intakes to this course every year in Spring, Fall and Winter. All prospective students must have completed their secondary education and should possess English speaking skills. Course Overview
The program has been designed so that students develop and acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to enter the workforce and to perform their roles in front-line service. A variety of job roles in various hospitality industry sectors are open to the graduates of this course. Examples are management trainee, bartenders, Captain, Outlet Supervisor, Sommelier, Outlet Manager, Sales Executive, Front Office Supervisor / Associate, Guest Relations Executive etc. As a part of this diploma in hospitality – hotel & restaurant course, the students will be instructed in mixology, wines, customer service, hotel services, and menu planning and design. The students of this diploma in hospitality course will also be provided with an introduction to managerial concepts including accounting, marketing, law and human resource management.
